Popsicle Girl: I can't see you in the morning, Or in my dreams at night, Are you only just a mystery? Or the center of my mind? I can't really be lonely, long as you're my everything, Grass grows music ebbs and flows, Baby you're my Popsicle Dream, My everything, Popsicle Dream, So around midnight when it's silent, Imagination takes a flight, I'm a million miles far away, True adventure cracks the night, Hot summer day somewhere far far away, When Superman and Robin are real, Popsicle Girl is somewhere out in her world, Waitin' on her Man of Steel, She could almost feel, Her Man of Steel, Can't take solace in the hallway, So I fly away the night, With sunrise there's adventure, And longing in her eyes, Long summer moon passed away far too soon, Now everything is painfully real, With Popsicle Girl I found my place in her world, Where love and happy endings are real, She can feel, Poetry and steel...

The Angel of the Coffeeshop: The Angel of the Coffeeshop serves memories and dreams, She pours like silver and carries along the sacred things we've seen, A hidden spirit rides between, just within our grasp, We share a passioned yearning, to stand up high at last, She slides on by with scrambled eggs, As I take a bite of toast, She's the world on fire, the heat the cold, The father the son, my holy ghost, I see her bright on Christmas Day outside it's crisp and fair, A familiar smile on Cheshire lips there's magic in the air, She knows how I like my coffee, she knows how I like my bed, Rich and dark, hot and alive, good medicine for the head, We're on this secret journey neither one can comprehend, Sometimes the sum is stronger than one, Even hurricanes, have to end, The Angel of the Coffeeshop's my power inside, She makes me believe there's one more chance, One more journey, one more chapter, One more ride, So don't believe my broken heart it only spits and lies, I can believe in things unseen when I see the shadows, In her eyes...

Don't Say Your Piece Softly: At first there's near silence, Dreams need room to breathe, Freedom and promise, to satisfy me, We cascade on forward, Through the learning and pain, We're gonna be heroes, there's so much to gain, There's really no nightmares, You want us to believe, So go on home now, there's nothing to see, There's prisons in the forest, And those in your mind, They'll nullify your freedom, and take up your time, Don't say your piece softly, If you want them to hear, 'Cause you are the thunder, let them no that you're near, So turn down your free thought, And turn up your pain, Just remember all flowers are preceded by rain, We're lost in a nightmare, A hundred million can see, Don't let go of the promise, You're gonna be free, At first there's near silence...

Complicate 04:47
Complicate: Everyday, wish I could be your desert flower, And we'd wander 'way the laughter and the song, Without you, I'd never known love at all, Complicate, it seems my mantel and my birthright, And even on my brightest days I can't decide, The good things from those decidedly wrong, I try to be, to defeat this evil curse that lives inside of me, Maybe write song, Never find a way, And somehow in a flash I'm at home again, And my love is warm, A serenade, Won't pull the daffodils from the heartache, No more than a well intentioned thought can pull the good things from the fear, Which never lurks far beyond, How can I be, In this world of complication, Where so many different things seems scattered in the swirl, Of infinite, parallel rights and wrongs, I can't decide, Should I pull this evil plug which somehow tethers me, Then I see her eyes, She touches me, In that certain silent way I see her universe, And I'm still alive, Everyday, wish I could be your desert flower, And we'd wander 'way the laughter and the song, Without you, I'd never known love at all, Complicate, it seems like it's a curse which must dispell our love, And takes no blame, And I cannot see, How time goes on without her just a distant star, So I remain, Everyday, wish I could be your desert flower, Just want to be your desert flower...

about

If anything, I’d like to leave some sort of positive imprint on the universe. Just a little something that perhaps made the world a better place for somebody, somewhere. Even if it is just for just four minutes and three seconds.

Artists, whatever their chosen medium, have a gift; to be able to snatch ideas from the ether and transform them into sound, pictures and light. I’ve always believed that with that gift comes an obligation to utilize ones particular creative energy in a vibrant and positive manner. Through the words and music of, ‘Liberty Street,’ and the love and guidance of a very special woman, I found some peace. It’s my sincere hope it does the same for you.

Viva la revolution, baby.
